Band Aid 20 was a 2004 charity single project with money raised going towards famine relief in the darfur Region of Sudan. It was organised by Midge Ure of 80s band Ultravox and produced by Sir Bob Geldof of the Boomtown Rats to mark the 20th anniversary of a similar project.

The single was a cover of the original project's song "Do They Know It's Christmas?" and was notable for the involvement of musicians from the bands Radiohead, The Darkness and Travis, and vocals from Coldplay's Chris Martin, Bono of U2, members of Snow Patrol and Feeder as well as many more.

It was released on November 29th 2004 and went straight to Number One in the UK Singles Charts, selling 200,000 copies in it's first week alone, becoming the fastest selling single of 2004.
